Comsel System and Sinfra in frame agreement

Comsel System and Sinfra (Svensk Inköpscentral för Infrastruktur Ekonomisk förening) have entered a frame agreement regarding electricity meters including related products and services. With the agreement, Comsel System is one of the selected suppliers that will deliver electricity meters and solutions for smart energy metering to members of Sinfra.

With this frame agreement, Swedish Energy companies can make call-off orders on smart metering equipment and energy information data collection services. Metering equipment includes, besides energy meters, smart communication modules such as Comsel Oculus and Gemini. The agreement also includes the Comsel Service Hub-service for metering data collection and management of measurement data and metering infrastructure.

All solutions from Comsel meet future requirements and support for increasing energy efficiency. The solutions fulfill recommendations issued by the Swedish Energy Markets Inspectorate. Support is also included for the communication flows that will apply for the electricity market hub of Svenska Kraftnät (Swedish Data Hub) when it is launched. The Comsel solutions are designed to deliver highest possible SLA-levels. They build fully on 100% open standards, utilize best available data security and are GDPR-compatible. Comsel offers solutions and metering units for electricity, district heat, water, gas and for the real estate segments.

Sinfra is an economic association which is owned by its members. The main object of the organisation is to manage the procurement of products and services for the utilities sector. Sinfra’s procurements make life easier for its members. Members do not need to carry out their own procurements, and they can quickly and simply place call-off orders under existing framework agreements. Sinfra acts as an agent for its procuring entities, i.e. member companies throughout Sweden. Sinfra has an annual turnover of ca 900 Mkr. Members are companies within energy utilities in Sweden.
